Look how Congressional candidate John Faso treats his constituents. John Faso who got just 19% of the vote state-wide when he ran for Governor is now running to be our next Congressman. Is Holly Carnright going to handle his constituent services department in Ulster County? Who would vote for a guy that treats his constituents this way??
For god's sake - include the link to this February 2006 opinion piece - the least you can do if you're going to copy and paste it herewith - because journalism.
ReplyDeletehttp://troypolitics.blogspot.com/2006/02/john-faso-for-governor.html
Faso's chances are reliant upon a cold day in hell.
I included the story as a screen shot picture, no reasonable person would assume that I was claiming to have written the post.
Deletego Heaney!!! An outsider that we need in Washington! A business man. We DO NOT need another lawyer/politician in our nation's capital.
ReplyDeleteThis thread got BERNARDO`S finger prints all over it would you just go away please
ReplyDeleteI don't even know who the Bernardo's are supporting. Not everything is a conspiracy, sir.
DeleteAnd yes I'm voting for Heaney.
ReplyDeleteBernardo's political operation TLB Management is being paid thousands of dollars by Andrew Heaney to plant these attacks. I guess you don't mind handing the Dems a seat in Congress if you've already $upported Obama, right Andrew?
ReplyDeleteAndrew donated to Obama in 2007 when Hillary was the front runner to stop her, this was before Obama was Obama. This was when Obama was Bernie Sanders in the race. In the general election he donated a boat load of money to John McCain and supported him in 08 and Mitt Romney in 2012. John Fashole is an arrogant jerk who is a lobbiest who was banned from lobbing for five years for his unethical behavior.
ReplyDeleteFaso is slick....Not who we need in Washington. Has he offered to self term himself like Heaney is or like Gibson did? Probably will not as he spies a salary and then a pension for life. Has he really addressed the Vet situation like Andrew Heaney will? Faso probably corrupted from his time in Albany cesspool.
DeleteHeaney never served and continues to get rejected by actual veterans http://www.thedailystar.com/opinion/letters_to_the_editor/in-your-opinion-heaney-got-it-wrong-on-va-health/article_2d072541-4a81-5cea-9de3-a96dbcd591e4.html
DeleteI knew Bernie Sanders....Bernie Sanders was a friend of mine. Goodfellas--Obama is no Bernie Sanders!!! Faso was a lobbYIst who was banned from lobbYing. You're welcome.
DeleteCongrats Mr. Blaber you sure are good at making rich friends the Sennett's, the Auerbach's the Bernardo's, Jim Quigley, your liberal New York City connections and now Andrew Heaney. Opertunist at your core, you will make it one day that I know but you will not be happy. Hired guns are never happy they live lonely existences because they sell their soul to the highest bidder.
ReplyDeleteYou drink the Rich Cahill kool-aid, sir. I'm fairly certian Blaber is supporting Zepher Teachout and four the umpteenth time is not the author(s) of this awesome blog.
DeleteI find that interesting that Blaber would support Zephyr. Supposedly he is going to be a Republican soon and rumor has it he wants to be a committeeman. Don't think that will fly with City Of Kingston Republican party.
DeleteJust remember it was Assemblyman Faso's RAC Comm. That orchestrated the disgusting Campaign to elect Republican Sean Mathews Assembly run in the 90's.
ReplyDeleteI see the Kid Mayor finally made a statement about the indoor range. Coincident that he made an opinion after the Orlando Mass Killing?? I think not. He does not want an indoor range in the city. Just killed another business venture...better get on the stick and get businesses in as he has a sales tax issue looming during his administration. Poorly negotiated contract. City will bleed out if he doesn't stem the tide of rejecting businesses. Arts community is good for Kingston but realistically how many people does an artist employ? and if buyers come they frequent venues about the city that employ little to none in their businesses..not exactly high paying jobs for the average citizen who resides in Kingston and pays taxes.

ReplyDeleteWait, isn't the city disincentivized to increase sales tax receipts now? Isn't the money they can receive capped now?
ReplyDeleteThe sales tax deal will be his biggest regret. He was taken to school by Hein and everyone knows it. Just wait until everyone else is cashing in and Kingston will be out there with their tin cup to the state and the county. We'll see what a great deal it was then.
ReplyDeleteHe has time to have more regrets..learning on the job is not good for us taxpayers. Wait until the union contract negotiations start...will be way over his head in that arena.
Delete2:38--you throw a lot of BS. The Mayor negotiated a good deal considering the Republican controlled Legislature had the votes for 10%. Hein helped get the votes for 11/1/2% 2016 & 2027. 2018, 19'
ReplyDelete, 20, 11/1/2%. The Mayor is aware what the amount is a yr prior to doing a budget so he can plan accordingly. Shared services will benefit the City. Good job Mayor. Don't pay attention to the naysayers and know it all wannabes.
So 9:44--what flavor Kool-Aid are you drinking? The kid mayor did NOT negotiate a good deal for the residents of the City. Shared services with CityBus benefit the County as does maintaining the Linear Trail. You are entitled to your misinformation but not the facts.
DeleteHilarious 2:38, talk about bullshit! It is almost a press release from Hein's office! The fucked up, idiotic, blind legislature would have voted yes for whatever was put before them. They are nothing but a bunch of stooges for Hein. Do nothing Peter Loughran betrayed Kingston so he had better be ready for a challenger because he sure as shit is going get one. The Bus thing will never happen and the tax "deal" in years 3-4-5 are down right bullshit for Kingston.
DeleteOops, 2017, correction.
ReplyDeleteCrickets.
ReplyDeleteJB must be back in rehab.
fundraiser for mcginty last night who attended?
ReplyDeleteHey. Anyone out there hear about Schupp's last day. Rumor has it he spent over $500.00 on manpower and materials to save a $75.00 piece of carpet. Then threw it out anyway. So happy he's gone.
ReplyDeleteMike was good for the DPW.. I would say that the last few superintendents before Schupp were ineffective and nincompoops... will be curious how yo'all will like a new one that Noble will hire..All moonbeams and rainbows... BTW good luck with your contract negotiations...should be an interesting "dialogue" as the liberals like to say.
ReplyDeleteMike Schupp pissed away thousands of taxpayers dollars. Drive through the transfer station and look at the blacktop box that has been sitting idle since he bought it 5 years ago. $60,000.00 just sitting there doing nothing. Or the automated trash trucks that continually break down and is costing taxpayers thousands of dollars to repair on a weekly basis. The city will soon require us to find our own waste disposal company.
DeleteBut, he did manage to blacktop just about every street he and his family own property on.
Yeah Mike was good for DPW 4:57
Someone send a copy of the old country tune "Polka Dots and Moonbeams" to 4:57--and be sure to send him a "pug-nosed dream" too!! Yeah Mike was great for DPW--more like the other way around. Sat on his ass, did nothing, and took great credit for doing nothing(biggest accomplishment--got rid of the phantom painters uptown, presided over the mini-sinkhole on Albany Avenue for two years before doing anything about it--big friggin' deal!! If you go so low as that, you have nowhere to go but up. Get a clue!!
Delete"trash Trucks" was the inspiration of Mayor Noble back when he was in Parks and Rec. as its environmental specialist.. So don't blame Mike for the trucks... Lets see how the kid Mayor deals with this info you have so kindly posted...But on the bright side as you have stated.if "we find our own trash disposal" city budget will save on the personnel who pick up garbage.. They will be eliminated. Be very careful what you espouse or complain about. The walls have ears...
ReplyDeleteMike took all the credit for these new trucks. Noble was never mentioned. Now that Mike quit because his plan wasn't working now you want to blame the "kid". Not buying it.
ReplyDeleteCity budget will save but taxpayer won't see a decrease in taxes. But the taxpayer's home budget will increase another $500.00 bucks a year to get rid of their own garbage.
the "kid" wrote the grant to help pay for the totes that was needed by the truck..I think this way of garbage disposal was proposed somewhere around 2010..it was Noble's idea. If it wasn't his idea he certainly pitched it to that administration..He knew all about the proposed trucks... I don't think 10:43 said Mike's plan was not working.. BTW, my street was paved last year but I am not family to Schupp. Just a taxpayer grateful for new blacktopping.
ReplyDeleteI'm greatful that I live in a street where Mike owns property. I get blacktop and he plows and salts it's also. Being someone who attends council meeting on a regular basis I can say I never heard the "kid" talk about it. Always Schupp.
DeleteNot too much longer before we hear....that giant Schupping sound....no more.
DeleteNot much longer and you people will be on here bashing the next guy who is in charge for making you work and earn your pay check. You dead weight that work for the City give the others, that actually do a good job, a bad name.
DeleteIs Schupp still working?
ReplyDeleteHe's on the books until August 25th. But not in the office. Using up accruals.
ReplyDeleteNow those guys at the DPW and Rec will have to deal with that Jerk Ed Boyle or should I say MUSH MOUTH. Good luck to them.
ReplyDeleteMost people don't have a problem with that 3:22. Come to work, do your job, and go home. He only bothers those who are trying to beat the system.
DeleteHe can't make you work unsafe. He can only make you work.
a Big Amen 1:55am!! He makes them work....stop sitting around on your butts or taking shortcuts..GET TO WORK and stop complaining...
DeleteSo is Schupp finished working. Is Boyle in charge now, did he get a raise.
ReplyDeleteI would assume when someone takes on added responsibilities one would have a raise in salary.
DeleteMaybe 3:22 that is a good thing reporting to Mr.Boyle . That is Deputy Superintendent to you...... don't think mushmouth is how you would address your Boss.
1:44 pm, then the Street Foreman and the Trash Foreman should be getting a raise, because they're taken on more responsibility with the demotion of the Asst.superintendent of Sanitation.
Deletewell 5:23, let them ask the Mayor for a raise! Demotion? In the private sector he would have been fired based on his attitude. Lucky he has the union to keep him working.
DeleteRight on 8:35. Those whiners should just keep their pie holes shut. None of them can do the job Boyle is doing.
DeleteWhen are the fireworks in Kingston, as there has been no advertisement
ReplyDeleteIt's on the web page.
Deletewhat if you don't have a computer how do you get the information.
ReplyDeleteIf you can write on this blog you can get to the web site.
Delete10:27 drops. mic.
DeleteWhat if he or she was thinking about someone else? Picks up mic......
DeleteWasn't the sewer pipe work on Broadway completed once a few years ago?
ReplyDeleteThis site is no longer up on current events. Charlie Landi is rewarded a seat on the police commission.
ReplyDeleteCharlie was a janitor in a prison. He's qualified.
DeleteDoes this mean he cannot put up big signs on the side of his truck now? LOL
DeleteLandi will think he has a lot of power with that commissioners badge similar to what he does in the court house what a stupid move by Noble.
ReplyDeleteLittle man, big ego!!! lol
DeleteDefinitely a wrong PR move by the Mayor. Landi has been itching to get back into city hall after his ceremonious dumping by his constituents in favor of his opposition. Constant need to be relevant. What a snake. Beware.
What a joke Landi is
ReplyDeleteHe is a snake and more this should not have happened.
ReplyDeleteWell there are such things as snake charmers, ya know....LMAO
Deleteand who would you recommend as a snake charmer, 2:27 ? LOL Money charms a lot of individuals....Power too.
DeleteThe snake charmer I know did not want the job, but did comment on your comment by saying:"Ohhhh...berryberry goot...boot I'm afraid that's not how vee doo eet back home in Bollyvood industry in the profession!! My American friend vuz making a play on vurds....and I must abite by the ettics of my profession!!"
DeleteRalph Swenson new DPW Superintendent.
ReplyDeleteIs this a nomination or report?
DeleteSimple math.
DeleteSwenson has an engineering degree. Something noble want the next superintendent to have.
No need to have an engineer and a superintendent with same credentials.
So you move swensons budget line to DPW.
Over Budget Swenson are you kidding.
ReplyDeleteSwenson is worst than Landi being appointed to the police commission what a mess this City is in
ReplyDeleteSwenson is retiring. His money will be moved to DPW. New super will have to make 6 digits with the deputy at 90k plus.
DeleteWhat is Swenson retiring with Schupp two losers
ReplyDeleteLoughran needs to go also he does not represent the COK, does he even have a job these days
ReplyDeleteYes. They call it "county legislator." More than a lot of people have "these days." And just confine your talk to your own COK. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI guess Loughran forgot that he was elected by COK Residents to represent them on the CL.
ReplyDeleteMiddletown gets $10m from the State. Opps where is Kingston's great grant writer on this?
ReplyDeleteWe elected him mayor.
ReplyDeleteNever thought him an excellent grant writer...Maybe good at writing the grants for his salary. I would say it was Greg Swanzey who did the big ones which helped our city as we don't have a lot of money to pay for projects. Wondering where all the money is coming from now with an inexperienced grant writer in that dept. Does that dept.have the skill to dispense once grants arrive. A lot of paperwork involved. It is not just about writing them.
DeleteMaybe the job isn't as hard as you want to make it. It's not rocket science.
DeleteIf it isn't rocket science...then why are all of Swanzey's grants sitting idle since he left?? There hasnt been one dime of reimbursements since he left.
DeleteSo did Middletown and he has $10M grant from the State coming. Kingston got what?
ReplyDeleteA DPW Superintendent with a PE degree for $85K are you kidding.
ReplyDelete5:08 ..Don't you mean civil engineering degree? CE and not PE. If I hear one more "my vision" from the Mayor in anymore press releases I am going to send him a Thesaurus. Vision? Look up the definition..hallucination comes to my mind.
Deletewhat are you ? a spiritual leader? I can envision you gone.... I am looking for inspiration and leadership from the Mayor and just not getting it..
Shabazz continues to speak he should be in jail along with all of the revs that support him he is an activist that is trouble
ReplyDeleteThis Mayor is a friggen joke.the city is a joke .DPW is a joke.csea is a joke
ReplyDeleteThis whole city is a joke.
ReplyDeleteThe smell of impotent rage is strong here.
ReplyDeleteNice way to address the people who are pulling the cart.
DeleteI hope the taxpayers are prepared for another C.REA type fight.dig deep, this maybe another good chunk! This administration is not very smart
ReplyDeleteAnother C. Rea fight for what?
ReplyDeleteOnce again this City is a joke what is wrong with this investment in the shooting range. The Uptown food court is now gone to, guess we don't need a tax base in the COK, only grant writers that don't write anything. Wow Middletown got the big prize $10M , Kingston got 0
uptown food court is delayed but I don't believe it is gone unless something went awry with the development or their funding.
Delete9:36.. you are portraying a cryptic message....
9;54 could you be more specific ? It is too hot to play games...As for food court,...no Grants, No PILOT equals they would have to use their own money and that is not happening
ReplyDelete
