Kingston Mayor Shayne Gallo went down in flames last Thursday night with Steve Noble trouncing the outgoing Mayor with 57% of the vote. Noble ran a very shitty campaign, he made mistake after mistake and did everything in the world to hurt himself but still won and won big! In reality this election was not so much Noble winning as it was Gallo losing. Not to take anything away from the kid at all, I'm sure he does a good job at the zoo with the animals but I would be willing to bet there are a lot of Democrats that woke up Friday morning kicking themselves that they did not run...two people that immediately come to mind are Bill Reynolds and Dave Donaldson both who would have easily won. Another two come to mind as well; the first is Hayes Clement, that was the race that people wanted to see and I have to think especially after losing by six votes four years ago that Clement had to have thought about running and has to be kicking himself now that he didn't. The other is less obvious and that is Jim Noble, the Uncle of Steve. I don't care what he says, in his heart of hearts he would love to be Mayor and everyone but him knew that he was the obvious successor to Sottile four years ago and would have destroyed Gallo in the primary then or last Thursday. In the back of Jimmy Noble's mind he wishes it was him and not the nephew, without question.
The general election could go either way but with a divided Democratic party and with Ron Polacco having four lines he is the odds on favorite. Eight years ago in 2007, sitting Poughkeepsie Mayor Nancy Cozean was beat in the Democratic primary by Fred Knapp, in a vicious primary that mirrors the Gallo/Noble primary but in the general election despite a huge enrollment advantage for Knapp he lost to Republican Tkazyik who was a former member of the Poughkeepsie Common Council, it's amazing the similarities of the race. Why did Tkazyik win despite the enrollment advantage for Dems? Same reason Polacco will win: a divided Democratic party that was pissed that their Mayor was ousted and a need in the City for change of a one party dominated City for so long.
Polacco will balance City government in the sense that Jim Noble has already been reelected, he has no race, so unless you want one family running both the Executive and legislative branches of city government than you have no choice but to support Polacco. Polacco a two term Alderman that served on the council's powerful Finance committee oversaw four budgets as Alderman and has the experience, he will however have to deal with a veto proof common council that will likely be 9-0. Again though for the first time in 21 years Kingston will have checks and balances in our government. You can't have one family being that powerful. The Noble family will essentially become Gambino family in Kingston, controlling city government completely with an iron fist and more employees on city in government than I have fingers and toes, but I am missing a pinky finger from a bad bet that happened a long time ago, details not needed. I think it was John Gotti that said Absolute power corrupts absolutely! ;) But for real!
Knapp Beats Sitting Mayor Cozean
From Wikipedia:
Tkazyik was elected to the City of Poughkeepsie Common Council in 2001.
He was reelected to the Council in 2003 and 2005. He successfully ran
for mayor in November 2007 and served on the Common Council until he
took that office on January 1, 2008. He was sworn into office as the
City of Poughkeepsie's second youngest mayor. He was reelected to a
second term in 2011
Team Gallo is bitter as ever! I will tell you that we heard Ellen DiFalco was in tears on Friday morning at City hall and crazy Uncle Joe is about to lose it, I ran into him on primary night and he threatened to have the commission whack me out. I also ran into Alderwoman Dawson the other day who was not her friendly self in my presence, the fact is the Kingston Capo is gone and Gallocrats are sore winners, I can't imagine what they are gunna be like the next few months as losers. I will say it's been an emotional few days for our family too, a civil war is never good and a Gallo losing even if it is Shayne hurts my heart on some level. I really feel bad for Nancy Gallo, my second favorite Gallo.
Common Council:
Wards 1,2,3,4,5,7,8, are all going to be Democrat no matter what, we are happy that Seche got his balls cut off by his no name challenger.
Wards six and nine will be competitive we give the advantage to Davis is six but support Corchran and the advantage to Johnson in Nine and support her candidacy as well.
County Legislature:
Congrats to Jennifer Schwartz Berky on her victory, great lady, Woltman is a friend of mine, we at Goodfellas thought she would be a good choice but voters felt differently and wish the new legislator elect the best of luck!
County Exec:
Not a good week for our Boss Mike Hein
We hear one of his deputy Exec's was busted over the weekend for a dwi and then we say this in the comment section of the blog regarding CSEA ENDORSEMENT:
Mike Hein went down in flames last night at CSEA region 3. Cimorelli did piss poor job.
Joyce Howard and John Staino were his only supporters.
Both
are running next year for region office. Important to let all county
employees know that Cimorelli Warnock Joyce Howard and staino cannot get
elected next year or Hein will have card blanch in ulster county CSEA.
On top of all that we have confermation that Christine Hein is now a Kingston resident living with her Mom on Hoffman Street. Not a good news week for Ulster Capo Mike Hein
Terry Bernardo meanwhile held a fundraiser on the train that drew more than 200 people could we be witnessing the upset of the year?
Also we will post later with reults from Ulster GOP Caucus regarding the race for Town Supervisor: GO TEAM QUIGLEY!!!
I agree, Polacco will be the next Mayor of Kingston. Democratic Party in City needs new leadership to bring everyone back home. They connived all year to get rid of Gallo for their own personal agenda. I thought thevRepublicans had a candidate on the Alderman at Large line. Polacco will get nothing done with Jim Noble . Democrats will bring him down, make his life miserable. He will go down as a very bad Mayor. 4 Yrs. Goes back to Democrats.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you think marriage problems will harm Mike Hein? Look at Maurice Hinchey, 3 wives while office. Look at KevinCahill, two wives so far and he drove the first one to another Woman, he is hunting for #3. Voters don't care about personal lives of politicians unless they break the law.
ReplyDeleteThis whole Noble family control the city line is just you shilling for Polacco. Jim as Alderman at large has no vote in the council. He is the least powerful person in the room. Also Polacco 4 budgets? Really? What a joke. He voted no on every budget. Offered no constructive cuts or amendments just voted no. He is a joke. He should just hole up in his fathers basement. That way nobody gets to meet him. It hurts his chances.
ReplyDeleteRon Polacco is not that deep of a candidate, intellectually speaking. With the organization that got Noble over Gallo still in place, Polacco doesn't stand that much of a chance.
ReplyDeleteYour mistaken about the power of tha Alderman at Large. He/she decides what council person chairs a committee. He/she is a member of every committee and has the power to break a tie vote or vote if there is not a quorum. he/she control the agenda. Council members look to the Alderman at Large for Leadership and direction.
ReplyDeleteYour constant attack on anyone who dares a challenge to the Nobles is getting boring. Polacco will win because of the vile, vicious personal attacks by Noble Supporters. Polacco will win because Republicans and Democrats, independence, Conservative , and those not enrolled will vote for him, not the Noble family.
ReplyDeleteQuigley & Reavy won
ReplyDeleteIt has been widely rumored the Mike Cimorelli will retire before the next county exec election. Being he couldn't deliver on his promise to get Hein the CSEA endorsement Hein won't have much use for him. Unless he needs him to do some dirty work behind the scene on personell issues
ReplyDeleteHe is only provisionally appointed to new position and under civil service rules can be let go at any time he doesn't obey Hein.
This is a very messy situation for county employees. They must come out in force next year and not let Staino, Howard, Warnock and Cimorelli take over Region 3. If they are successful County employees are doomed. Already hearing Hein is going to start letting people go when NYS take full control over Medicaid. Retaliation from not getting endorsement and Cimorelli will do nothing to stop him.
I don't think the problem is dumping a wife. I think the embarrassment and potential litigation for the county is the fact that the mistress is a subordinate.
ReplyDeleteHein is carrying on in his personal life as he does in his public life. He is the only one that matters and he will do unethical and immoral things to get his way. And he raises his kid as a Catholic? What a hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteAm hearing you 3:04. Cimorelli brought Staino on the CSEA boat cruise. It's the last one I am going on. Not happy with the politics. Used to be a good time but now just all politics. After they were handing out their political lies. Cimorelli and Staino were joined at the hip. Voting for whoever is running against them.
ReplyDelete4:45: we all know these rumors come from the Bernardo camp. Terry is a disaster, she killed Karen Binder, clerk of the Legislature by being so vicious to her as she was dying from cancer. Bernardo's are evil people especially Terry. Mike Hein is not separated from his wife. Just joined them at fundraiser for People's Place. By the way, Terry is no angel, she has been caught with her advisor from Albany in a compromising position. Poor Len, he is home cooking and cleaning and she is making out with the men telling her how great she is. Pathetic !!
ReplyDeleteSeeing them in public is all P.R. If they are not on their way to a divorce, they will be soon after the election. It is no secret that he cheated on his wife and it is no secret who he cheated with. He broke his marriage vows which is a purposeful, deliberate and immoral act. One other thing, Hein cheated on his wife which is an entirely different moral situation than a marriage dissolving. People care about politicians personal lives, they just do not hold it against them if they did nothing wrong. Hein did something wrong and he will be held accountable to the voters and to God.
ReplyDelete6:42- this has to be Bernardo posting, answer to God! You are a wacko, please get mental health services while you can. You are the devil incarnated. We all remember the ants that were delivered in an envelope to your home by the post office, had a great laugh on that one. Seen tape where you are dressed in hunting clothes, you were so stupid, had a great laugh watching that one, can't wait until we get to see you in debate next to Hein, you will make an ass out of yourself because you can't fix stupid!!!
ReplyDeleteIs there anyone running against Cimorelli? If its Bart Robbins, a good example of a functioning idiot..you can count me out. Scary enough he is Treasurer.
ReplyDeleteRobbins is all done heard he resigned
DeleteRobbins is all done. Gallo sent KPD detectives after his ass. Last time he will touch a Gallo banner. Only matter of time before he fires him. Noble first then Robbins.
DeleteAll he does is plan boat rides Yankee and met trips oh yeah rockettes too. What a waste of union money
DeleteOne thing about Robbins that you can't say for the CSEA Gallo/Hein ogres, is that he is honest and another is that he is not out for himself. I would vote for him over any of the others and one other thing, he is far from stupid. At least you are getting something for your dues. You certainly don't get decent representation from the others.
DeleteCimorelli is running for the Board of Directors seat for Ulster County against Kathy Bayer from Wallkill School District. She has been our rep for several years. She does a good job representing all the members not just her own unit.
DeleteKathy Bayer has represented all of the members. Cimorelli is in it only for himself. He will do whatever the County exec tells him. Better off keeping what you have.
DeleteCimorelli sounded like a buffoon shilling for Hein. Chalk up another loss for Hein who seems to be losing his luster at an alarming rate. People finally seem to be catching on.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteProblem is that he slept with a subordinate. Forget god and vows. I am more worried about my tax bill when the county loses a hostile workplace suit. As far as stupid goes, he takes the stupid prize because his wife is way hotter than the mistress. What an idiot.
ReplyDeleteyou are a lot of bullshit!! that's all Bernardo has, starts gossip and trys all kinds of crazy shit because she has nothing else. she is so stupid, she is the idiot. They must be paying Jeremy a lot of Money to post for her. I can't wait to see her at the chamber debate, she will be laughed off the stage.
Delete9:43: it never happened, take that to the bank!
ReplyDeleteOh man, this Hein stuff is getting hot and heavy. People in Hurley (neighbors) are talking. People in Kingston (co-workers) are talking. People are talking all over the place. Why is that if there is not some truth to it? You know the old saying, where there is smoke, there is fire. What I have heard from more than one source, albeit it is all 2nd-3rd-4th hand, is that he allegedly got caught with her in his office. Now if that is true, he should resign immediately.
ReplyDeleteGoes to show you how our local leaders have trouble leading their personal lives, let alone their public offices.
ReplyDeleteWait for the floor to drop out when Noble appoints Tom Hoffay as City Clerk and assumes the role of puppet master and unofficial mayor.
11:49, city Democratic committee will be running the show. Vote no on Nobles
ReplyDeleteHas anyone seen Mike Cimorelli since his pathetic speech at the region 3 exec board meeting? Hein should cut ties with this "I am in it for myself" guy.
ReplyDeleteEasy to see Cimorelli is a waste of taxpayer money. Taking a $6000.00 raise then reneging on his promise. I am sure he is blaming everyone but himself.
He never stood a chance at getting Hein the endorsement and he knew it. Played Hein like a fiddle to get what he wanted. Now the taxpayers are stuck with another overpaid political cronie.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteGlen Warnock is claiming to be a member of the local next wave committee. This is on the Staino ticket for region 3 exec board. The local doesn't even have a next wave committee.
ReplyDeleteIf he's lying now he will lie later. Wonder how many other lies are contained in staino' political junk mail.
Stay tuned to this blog for more info.
Warnock has only been involved with the union for two years. Now he's lying to get ahead. Speaks volumes about that ticket.
ReplyDeleteShame on Warnock, Staino and Cimorelli - using a CSEA social event to promote their selfs - it was not the place for it.
DeleteAnyone hear count on absentee votes in Kingston. I expect Nobles got most of them to?
ReplyDeleteI doubt if Hein will actually lose this election, but a weak victory could seriously damage any potential congressional campaign next year. Looks like John Faso is the odds on to get the Republican nod and any Dem is most likely going to come out of the Ulster end of the district. Maybe Kevin Cahill would like to have his old boss' seat.
ReplyDeleteHein needed CSEA's endorsement to keep pace with Molinaro. Cimorelli didn't come through with his promise. Molanaro is now odds on favorite for that spot. Hate to be Cimorelli
ReplyDeleteCimorelli has lied and manipulated his unit's executive board. They need to wake up and smell the coffee. The Local officers are on to his BS and have no respect for him.
DeleteWell it would be Faso against Molinaro on the R side. Also considering a run are Assemblyman Pete Lopez and Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin.
ReplyDeleteLopez is more than just considering he's running also there is a big oil guy running in our district that will most likely beat them all on GOP side. Mark my words.
ReplyDeleteWell I have no horse in it. Formerly from Ulster, but unfortunately I live in Paul Tonko's district now where there will be no competition. I am one mile from the border of the 19th near the Schoharie line and hometown of Lopez. Now he is the ultimate political insider ....read his resume on his assembly website and every job since college has been political, whether staff or elected. McLaughlin has been on Fred Dicker's radio show pushing himself as the "outsider". Maybe it won't matter if some rich guy buys the nomination, but that kind of thing can backfire...hello Congressman Eldridge.
ReplyDeleteShanye Gallo is running for Congress. You heard it here first.
ReplyDeleteOh please dear Lord Jesus please. That would be the most entertaining thing of 2016, hands down.
DeleteGo Shayne, you do it, you don't need the haters here in our City, move on.
ReplyDeleteCongress what party is going to support him?
ReplyDeleteThe "YOU CALLING MY MOTHER A LIAR!?!?!??!" party, naturally.
DeleteMike Hein is running for congress. You heard it here first.
ReplyDeleteHeard it here first? Who are you kidding? Mike wanting to run for congress is about as much of a secret as Jeremy running this blog. Mike runs if no one else steps in. Mike has never run a real contested race and he isn't about to start now. He has reached his ceiling. He will be county executive as long as he wants and then go home.
DeleteWho said Hein is running for Congress?
ReplyDeleteDoubt the unions are dumb enough to finance another losing campaign.
ReplyDeleteThe unions are dumb to endorse Hein. He has them all in his back pocket.
ReplyDeleteCSEA didn't endorse Hein. Only Cimorelli did.
ReplyDeletewhoever cimorelli is?
ReplyDeleteCimorelli is the CSEA President in Ulster County. Rumor has it Hein gave him a big raise for the endorsement. Problem was nobody in CSEA likes Hein because of what he did with Golden Hill and Mental Health.
ReplyDeleteGood for taxpayer bad for unions. Can't cut county work force in half and not piss off the big boys at CSEA
Not a rumor - Cimoreli got a raise and a promotion for the promise of an endorsement. CSEA Region III DID NOT give Hein the endorsement. You hurt one member - you hurt us all.
DeleteWell said Bart. Practice what you preach.
DeleteHein will fit in great in Congress with all of the other lying, cheating, ego maniacs. I don't understand how Gibson has lasted as long as he has. He has way too much class for Congress.
ReplyDeleteI guess when you are a moral individual to begin with it makes it easier to shun the non ethical policies. Plus he only limited him self to 3 terms, Not long enough to wade or swim into the cesspool of inside Washintgton, DC
DeleteFWIW.... I'll throw this out here. I got an interesting call from a polling operation today. The poll definitely centered on next years NY State Senate race and specifically the George Amedore district. Lots of questions about potential challengers and focused on Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara. Then it turned into almost a push poll where they hit me with a half dozen very negative statements about Amedore and asked each time whether that had changed my opinion about voting for him. I guess we can deduce from this that they are serious about getting the seat back and that they are floating the idea of running fellow Rotterdam resident Santabarbara.
ReplyDeleteAnother reason not to answer the phone if you don't recognize the number. I hate robo calls and I hate negative campaign calls. I can make up my own mind, I read newspapers and listen to local and national news. Don't need a pollster bugging me. Besides all bets are off once you enter the privacy of the voting booth. BTW, I am a George Amedore supporter .Had made up my mind by reading and doing my own homework.
DeleteYou got this wrong. This was a poll by Amedore, using negatives he is aware of and seeing how much it hurts him in a Dem/Liberal district. He knows some of the stances he has taken will hurt. Now he has to do an about face on some and he knows it. Big money poll, he will base his campaign on the results.
Deletestill will be a supporter of Amedore. :)
DeleteHein's wife was cheating on him since 2010 the only difference between the two is she didn't get caught.
ReplyDeleteHow utterly pathetic of Provenzano. You lost, you gracefully bowed out now this? Just shows how phoney you really are.
ReplyDelete....... I think it is important—whether it’s Democrats, Republicans, Independents (or) non-enrolled—to know there is another candidate, Jeanette Provenzano, still on the ballot for alderman-at-large,” she said.
http://hudsonvalleynewsnetwork.com/2015/09/21/kingston-alderman-at-large-candidate-still-has-hope-despite-primary-loss/
5:56-- that scares you???negative comments will get her more votes and she might start knocking on doors. Corrupt Democrats don't see a problem with one family running the show!! Well let me let you in on a secret, most voters I talk to hate the idea! So it could be Noble/ Provenzano or Polacco/provenzano. Keep the bs coming, we love it?
ReplyDeleteI forgot one more possibility, Polacco/Jim Noble. I don't think Steve's environmental supporters would like that much???
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the HVNW article on Provenzano. I'm a Democrat and love Jeanette and what she stands for. It appeared to me the Reporter was leading the story. I was not offended by Jeanetts comments. Anyone who knows her at all know if you ask her a question she is forthright and honest with her response.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that scares anyone. Did you forget how poorly she performed in the Primary? She is tacitly saying she is running with the Republican. "I think it is important—whether it’s Democrats, Republicans, Independents (or) non-enrolled—to know there is another candidate, Jeanette Provenzano, still on the ballot for alderman-at-large" What does she stand for?
ReplyDeletePathetic is right. Some people just can't let it go.
ReplyDelete7:21- if there is nothing to be "scared" about, let it go. Truthfully if I were advising her it would be campaign Jeanette. Noble/noble is not going to win, they are blinded by their hatefulness and vendetta against Shayne, 800 Democrats aren't going to decide who will lead this City for the next 4 Yrs. All voters will. Dumb ass , she has nothing to lose.
ReplyDeleteI don't think she lost that badly when you consider that she was going against an entrenched long time, apparently popular incumbent. Gallo, for that matter, only got 52 votes less than in 2011. But Provenzano was the challenger.
ReplyDeleteShe has been in elected office for 100 years. For someone of that stature, any loss is a bad loss. For someone who holds herself as a ground breaker and pillar of the community, she should see the writing on the wall. Her core supporters and people who have put her on the ballot all these years, AKA Kingston Democrats, have spoken. It is time to retire. It is embarrassing to see her put herself through this. Someone should intervene. Maybe Shayne's nuttiness has rubbed of on her.
DeleteThe democratic machine will grind up Polacco/Provenzano. They have no money no phone banks and no chance.
ReplyDeleteOnly votes they will get is from the blog readers.
The Nobles will get their word out by mail, phones, and door to door. It's a lost cause for the other side.
Jeanette to campaign with Polacco what a joke and she is a joke also. Up Mike Hein's ass al of the time. Maybe Mike can get here a county job.
ReplyDeleteJim Noble will beat Provenzano each and every day. He is not a divider, does not cater to the press or Mike Hein/Shayne Gallo, is not in it for the insurance or money, and certainly is much more qualified. You are right, all the voters will decide and Jim Noble will win easily. As for being a dumb ass, that would Jeanette and her supporters for taking this tack towards election day. As someone who claims to be a life long Democrat, she sure has no problem with accepting support from Conservatives and Republicans. People do not like opportunist and Provenzano is an opportunist.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, council members do not get the insurance, Noble does make about $10,000 a year. He might be eligible for NYS pension if he made contributions to it. Been there long enough to get vested. So , yea he might be in it for the money.
DeleteTired of people who represent us who just stick to the party line. We should be looking for people who can be bi-partisan.
Please, there is no bi-partisan in Kingston. The council is nearly 100% Democrats! What I want is someone who understands when their supporters have had enough of them and fades away as they should. Not someone who is willing to accept support from a party they have run AGAINST for their entire careers.
Deletewell then, it is time for Noble to go.....been there too long according to your criteria for term limits.
DeleteWhat are you talking about? Who said anything about term limits? The only term limits that count are the ones the VOTERS decide on and they spoke loud and clear when they supported Noble over Provenzano.
Deletehaven't given ALL of the voters a chance to vote..There are NOP, independence, Republicans, Conservatives, and other Dems who didn't make it to the polls for primary. Perhaps the voters will decide on Noble's term limits. How about Jim self impose term limits..? Wonder if the job was a volunteer position if he would still run for the office? Provenzano still on the ballot under another line.
Delete10:54 Please go back to school and learn how to write a proper paragraph that is comprehensible to someone who made it past middle school.
DeleteI have no problem understanding the poster's point..12:50. You must be a libertard.....
Delete6:20 libertard? I rest my case. Middle school is about right.
DeleteJeanette is in it for the money and benefits and for herself and her self imposed support of Hein.
ReplyDeleteI would be very nervous if I were Steve Noble. Gallo has been very quiet. The other shoe will drop and it will not be pretty. If you think Gallo is going away with out taking out Noble you are in a dream world. It is going to cost him a pile of money fighting the charges that will be brought against him, he will not be Mayor and he will have no job. by the way, why so upset over Jeanette? She knows she cannot win, but it's fun to cause a stir.
ReplyDeleteDelusional much? What makes you think Gallo is going to win? Because he made up this cockamamie scheme to try and win the primary does not make it real. Since you brought it up, the Junior League should look into dumping their president too! She used that once wonderful organization as a political tool for a friend. That is a no no in the service organization world.
DeleteDefine friend. Rumors you know.
DeleteShe should go away just like Gallo
ReplyDeleteWhy is everyone so quite?
ReplyDeleteToday's top scandal has shifted to Saugerties and Legislator Chris Allen: http://www.thedailymail.net/news/article_af6ce974-61b5-11e5-8b17-13d95efb2b6a.html#.VgJnrVJoHXQ.facebook I know this is a Kingston blog, but this looks pretty juicy. ;)
DeleteAnother Hein guy who could end up in handcuffs. 2 in 2 weeks. Nice supporters there Mike.
DeleteWho was the other and why wasn't it in the paper.
DeleteIt was, Karl Schlegel, he was in eco dev, now in budget. He hit and ran, then ran from cops DWI, aggravated DWI (More than .18). http://www.dailyfreeman.com/general-news/20150914/law-and-disorder-sept-15-2015
DeleteName dropped just like Allen to try to get out of the jam. What is it with these guys?
DeleteHein has them brainwashed to think his name carries some sort of extraordinary influence. What they don't realize, or maybe NOW realize is that influence is only over the people who work for him, he keeps in positions of control, or whose purse strings he can control in someway.
DeleteBrad Will is before the ethics committee? His buddy Charlie Landi must have told him it was all right to vote on the Pike Plan.
ReplyDeletealso Jim Noble was questioned too. Article in the MidHudsonNews.com
Deletewhere is the daily freeman on reporting this story??? Oh that' s right..they are selective in what they write about (protecting certain politicians.). I would think people should know if their elected officials have ethics violations. How did Midhudson news find out about it?
DeleteEthics inquires are kept private because they should be. Most times, anyone can kick off an ethics discussion and end up being baseless. People called in could be called in to verify a position of the accused or supporting the ethics claim. Either way, it should be private until ruled upon. Accusations do not equate to guilt.
DeleteSo according to MidHudson News Mr. Will blocked his face from the camera coming out of the room after a meeting with Ethics committee. Doesn't seem to have a problem on his facebook with his pictures and opinions. His attorney must have told him to be quiet and stop espousing his opinion on every subject. Usually Alderman Will always likes to talk to the press.... witness his many quotes in local papers.
DeleteWhat's your point 9;26? He is involved in an ethics inquiry, we get it. When the results are made public, which usually are only made public if there are grounds for some sort of action, we will find out. Until then, nothing has changed, no wrong doing has been accused, and no one has been charged with anything. Now go get your shine box!
Deletehey 10:11 I've been waiting to respond to your comment. Brad Will was found to be in violation. Came with a hefty fine....$1000 plus Jim Noble has to do a written reprimand. Will that be made public? They are all about transparency in government. Isn't he #One Kingston candidate? Guess public might have to FOIL it if they are not forthcoming.
DeleteDO you want your shine box back?
Cannot believe he claimed he didn't know that abstaining was required for conflict of interest After all he claims to research every thing he posts on Facebook.
KUDOs to Daily Freeman for reporting this. I actually thought they would bury it or not even report on it.
Are you kidding me stop signs at Wall & John St. Why not just make the whole City all stops signs as no one stops at them almost got hit at the corner of Wall & N Front St what a stupid idea.
ReplyDeleteSigns are replacing the stoplight at John and Wall. Most motorist speeded up to avoid the red light. should be safer now that cars actually have to stop for the STOP sign.
ReplyDeleteOh stop signs are safer no one stops at them they all run them good idea.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it time for an updated report?
ReplyDeleteGallo is out there crying again. Does he not get it.
ReplyDelete
