The Omertà Report

AUERBACH FOR CONGRESS-  We have tremendous respect for Elliott Auerbach and we say to E.A., go for it baby!! The 19th district any other year would be a winnable for a Democrat but on a presidential year with Hillary leading the ticket, you will have 10-12 thousand more votes at play then any other year. Auerbach beat Quigley in 08 largely cuz Obama and hey 2016 is the new 2008. Elliott is personable funny and passionate about public service. He's by far in our opinion the most popular county wide official and respected across the aisle. Rich Cahill has some fucking balls challenging Elliott, were are your credentials to even comment, first he says a Dem has win Ulster County by a big margin to win,not neccisarly the case Julian crushed Gibson in Ulster county when he ran and lost.  We could go on schooling Cahill on politics but it's not worth our time, just shut your mouth and go home and get your shine box Little Dick. Auerbach will have a tough time winning reelection in 2018 in 19th but he will win handily in an open congressional seat on a presidential year, it's already happened three times, twice w Gillibrand and Scott Murphy beat Tedisco, our first successful congressional campaign we did. We say to U.C.'s Meyer Lanski, go for it, it's yours for taking.

With Parete out as chair of legislature we wonder what will happen w Jay Mahler, we think she is smart, sexy and capable to do any job in local politics, she's a Kevin Cahill alumni that was fucked over by Vic Work who let's face it is a moron, Tom Turco runs circles around him and he only has the job because he's failed every civil service job Hein appointed him to, yeah that's the guy I want overseeing elections for the Majority party in this county. Jay should run for commissioner a job she rightfully deserves and send Vic packing not just for good of the party but the good of the process. Work is terrible and needs to go, take Cardinale with him. The two are bffs and go on vacation together trying figure out which one of them will shine Hein's boots and which one will jerk him off. Cardinale usually volunteers for the latter.

Kingston will swear in their first fagazi Mayor, the guy is unqualified and has no business  being in the front office. His inexperience will be on full display the next four years.

We will support Noble on his firing of DiFalco, Ellen wined that she was unfairly fired w a letter and not face to face. Besides fact Noble lacks balls to fire Ellen face to face and we don't say that lightly, we wouldn't either, we'd be worried about her turning us into stone. More importantly she doesn't deserve to be told face to face. Noble is the Mayor, to victor goes the spoils. We hear he will hire Sottile's old secretary Donna Fisher.

Finally we hear rumors of other Democrats wanting to run for Congress specifically Frank Skartados, we like Frank a lot but again we give the edge to Auerbach. As for Joel Tyner's candidacy, get the fuck outta here with that shit right now. Actually it's good for Auerbach,  it gets his signs and message out, without having play catch up after the GOP primary and he will win by a huge margin giving him a bump in the general. Auerbach's only weakness will be his ability to raise money because the DCCC will throw him crumbs. Auerbach can raise some $, $250,000 or so he'll be all set.

Buy the Kingston Times this week Reynolds had a good Christmas column in there this week.

But then you would complain that the garbage was not being picked up if they manned just the plows. At least DPW Super is trying to do both. Ice was the more crucial problem IMHO...

  8. Following orders received from the vacationing civil service executive secretary Jackie DeCicco, this morning her assistant Robin Kimbal turned out the lights and locked herself in the Civil Service office during her shift and regular city hall operating hours.
Regular morning visitors to city hall are accustomed to the civil service door being locked and the lights out, as the frequent gentleman caller Mike Schupp helps Jackie DeCiccio rearrange the furniture in the lavishly decorated office.
Why was the office locked today?
Perhaps Jackie was training Robin to receive gentleman callers too? As Mike Schupp needs more than just Maureen Topple to satisfy his cravings.

  13. In 2016!Steve Noble is poised to accept a $3,000 bonus for not directly accepting city medical benefits, instead he will be covered under his wife's city medical benefits.
Steve Noble will be the first mayor in the history of Kingston to apply for, and accept a medical plan " buy out" payment from the city property taxpayers.
How is that for public service?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Would be nice if this buy out program(benefit) be eliminated in the next budget and civil service discussions/negotiations for the sake of us taxpayers. And let's not forget the longevity pay they get too. Basically we pay employees to stay in the job... what a screwed up system. Only in NY!!!

      Delete
    2. add the 3000 to the ridiculously low salary that he will be getting for a 70-90 hour a week job and it is still a bargain. The full time mayor of a small city should making about 100K, especially when the department heads who report to him all make in the 100 range. In this upside down system, the mayor is not even in the top 5 as far as payroll.

      Delete
    3. I absolutely agree with this statement 10:37...

      Delete
    4. Hey, the Mayor elect was not forced to run so he should expect to get the salary that is in place. Noble is the one that gave up his gravy train for the office of Mayor. cannot sympathize.... Guess he will be a true public servant with poor wages.

      Delete
    5. True he chose to run for the salary but begrudging him the pathetic 3000 insurance buyout when he is still going to be woefully underpaid is pretty juvenile.

      Delete
    6. 5:46. It is not just noble who gets the buyout but other city employees do to. It is time to stop this practice in these economic times. This practice has fallen by the wayside in the private sector. Like the previous poster said..he chose to run. Maybe he could be the example of this benefit and eliminate it all together. I gather from his speeches on the campaign he is looking to change how city hall is run. This would be a good start. $3000 could be better spent for the benefit of the taxpayer or even for programs we could offer the different depts. in city hall. Maybe updating some equipment to get us into the 21st century?

      Delete
    7. So.would you rather we pay the whole insurance bill???? Let's be real. The buyout is saving us taxpayers money.

  20. Fresh off her pathetic "singing" performance at friday's swearing in ceremony Rebecca porky Martin has the nerve to publish a letter she expects mayor doody to sign and send to the dec and the thruway authority.

If we had a mayor with a set this suckling pig Martin would already be on display in Satriale's meat case! Where did she get the idea that doody could be pushed around?

From the police chief and the police commission that's who. Less than 24 hours after being sworn in mayor doody was summoned to a Saturday morning emergency meeting of the police commission and ordered to recind all recent promotions. Wife thief tinti hates these officers and is out to ruin their careers.

How is that for open and transparent city government? good start

    ReplyDelete

    1. Rebecca Martin does more for Kingston in one day than you will in your entire miserable life.

    3. You are a sad, pathetic, ignorant person. If you had 1/2 of a brain, you would realize how fucking stupid you sound and apparently, are.

      Delete
    4. Who cares about that issue? Every municipality along the Pipeline has their own objections to it, nothing Noble signs or doesn't sign will have any impact. He's just ensuring he'll never be out flanked from his left.

      Delete
    5. I will admit that the singing portion performed by Ms.Martin was a bit subpar(not sure what was going on) but her concern for all things that are Kingston are genuine. She does give up her time & money for the issues. I am concerned that with her donation to Noble campaign she expects some favors going in her way for legislation and political issues. Hoping the Mayor has some back bone but then again money talks.... there are other people who live in Kingston who do not agree with her agendas and should have the ear of Mayor Noble too. I do wish she would stop with bringing citizens outside of city limits to plead and speak on her concerns. They don't have a vote and they don't live here. The new council has to be mindful of that fact.

      Delete
    6. You pathetic loser!! Rebecca Martin has done a lot for this city and so has Tinti. He is the best Chief the city has ever had. And now finally a mayor who is rational! I suspect that any so called meeting was to undo the Gallo insanity!

      Delete
    7. Chief Tinti has been the best Chief for this city in a longtime. He has brought us into the 21st century of law enforcement. Must be a slow day in the Kingston for people to now gossip about other officials in the city. Gallo is gone..let it go. Stop trying to tie everything into him and his personality.

      Delete
    8. Chief Riggins was and always be the best police chief this city has ever had.
tinti spent almost 20 minutes on the street as a patrolman, most of thief tinti's career was occupied with dell computers and toilet paper requisitions.

      Delete
    9. Riggins was a drunken bully and the whole city knows it! Only another cop would know how long Tinti was on patrol. Sounds like Tinti advanced quicker than you. Sucks to be you!

      Delete
  21. So the Police Commission is going to tell the Mayor who to appoint? Has Gallo's appointments been rescinded?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes, each promotion has been recinded.
The $150k Chief along with his $150k deputy grabbed mayor doody by the puppet balls; mayor doody caved and police officers lost their promotions.

      Delete
    2. Salaries are public information. neither of them make 150K but they should for listening to the whining babies surrounding them dressed up like cops!

      Delete
    3. Base salaries are in the budget check out see through ny to see what they actually made with overtime.

Last year Wallace was on tract to make over 200K before he was shut down in september.

  22. Want a good laugh? I have not seen/heard this before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grBqvragt0s

    ReplyDelete
  23. So now these promotions will cost the city in lawsuits as I would assume the Police union will become very much involved. Should be good for morale also, way to go Noble.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. you mean way to go Gallo. Gallo spent his last 2 months trying to fuck over every department in the city. Ask ANY city employee. Gallo was egged on by commish Habeab who has his own agenda for kpd. Noble has some mess to clean up.

      Delete
    2. As an anonymous poster, this is just one mans opinion. I think the new mayor would have been better served to find out more before making what appears to be a politicle revenge decisions. Were these promotions good for the Department? were the appointee's not qualified? or is it just so he can make his own political appointments? There is no way I can see him getting all the facts from both sides and coming up with a decision on his own in less than 24 hours. I would be willing to bet that rescinding these promotions will cause more damage then good for the police department, and the citizens of Kingston. If these positions were to fill open positions and the officers are qualified and eligible. What is the risk to reward factor for all involved? Just because you have the authority doesn't make it the best idea. How does this move benefit the citizens of Kingston? And if it doesn't, who does it benefit? And as someone previously pointed out that doesn't even get into what the potential financial fallout this decision could cause the taxpayer.

      Delete
    3. He made the appointments against the wishes of the police chief and without approval from the police commission (which is required by the charter). Meanwhile Noble is just putting them on hold to get the chief's input and a legitimate vote from the commissioners. Gallo tried to pack the department brass with his cronies in the final hours of his administration- that's political bullshit not putting things on hold until it can be done in line with the charter.

      Delete
    4. as was his authority

      Delete
    5. its not putting it on hold. its waiting so his cronies are eligible which at this time they are not.

      Delete
    6. The question of whether he has the authority will probably end up in court. The charter clearly gives the commission a role in hiring and promotion and 30 years of past practice gives them an up or down vote on promotions. The bigger question is why Gallo would push so hard to promote someone against the wishes of the command, the commission and the rank and file. I guess because he is (or was) the king and he knows best

      Delete
    7. It wasn't against the wishes of the whole COMMAND just the COMMANDER Tinti. The smooth talking egomaniac has not been able to make it work with any of his personnel that have actually done police work. "The command" will not say otherwise in fear of the same type of retribution. This man is willing to do away with second line supervisors IE Lieutenants just to screw one man who has done what he has not..
